AllSpark chase continues, now in the Transformers the game. Game isn’t long lasting. It’s actually maybe 5-6 hours total gameplay. Not including side missions. Side missions are pretty easy but original in a way, so if you are looking to extend the game a little bit more, that’s what you are going to have to do. Game is engaging, especially the melee battle part. To be honest, the whole thing is a one big battle, though melee fights are exceptional. Probably what majority of people like in this game most, is fight animations, which are made on highest level. It is actually really fun to watch how really pissed off robots throwing some heavy stuff at each other, stuff like big trash bins, vehicles and everything in this size range. Interacting with environment may be a little exaggerated, something like buildings crushing even on a slightest touch of robots but it’s still cool, game is creating an impression that characters have somewhat monstrous power, exactly how it supposed to be. But really, don’t go hoping for a really cool drama in this game.
Some of the missions are annoying; some of the fight scenes to be precise; when you need to stick to one location, locations where there isn’t much you can do, it’s frustrating but on the bright side, this kind of missions are really few. Speaking of annoyances, missions involving driving in vehicle mode and doing time limit quests, it’s frustrating as hell but then again, such missions are few in the game.
Audio and Soundtracks are amazing. Some of the Robots are have actually original Transformers characters voices. Audio and Video are okay, nothing to complain about but what really makes this game worth playing is secret hidden stuff, unlockable movies and robot skins. Transformers the Game definitely worth your money, give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
